Short assessments match you to the campaigns that fit your expertise. Pass one and you're eligible for that kind of work.

Capture, annotate, or verify data on your own schedule. Every campaign comes with clear instructions and a rate up front.

Get paid
Accepted work pays out through Stripe. You keep the flexibility of independent contract work; we handle the rest.
The work

Campaigns are designed by Roboflow Labs around what frontier models still get wrong. Each one is specific about what good looks like.
Capture
Egocentric & robotics video
First-person footage of real tasks in real places: kitchens, warehouses, workshops, fields. The data world models are missing.
Annotate
Fine-grained labeling & tracking
Boxes, masks, keypoints, and object tracks on hard imagery, where domain knowledge decides whether a label is right.
Reason
Multimodal questions & answers
Write the prompts, questions, and step-by-step reasoning that teach models to think about what they see.
Verify
Review & quality assurance
Check model outputs and other contributors' work against the spec. Expert judgment is the last line of quality.
Who we're looking for
Expertise is the whole point.
Domain experts
Radiologists, agronomists, line inspectors, pilots, mechanics. If you can tell the difference between a defect and a shadow, we need your eyes.
Vision developers
The community that built two million Roboflow projects already knows what good training data looks like. This is a way to get paid for it.
Professional annotators
Experienced labelers who want steady, well-specified work with real feedback loops and rates that reflect the difficulty.
- Is this a job?
- No. Nebula contributors are independent contractors who choose which campaigns to take on. You set your own hours and can stop at any time.
- How do I get paid?
- Through Stripe, after your work passes the campaign's acceptance checks. Rates are set per campaign and shown before you accept any work.
- Do I need a Roboflow account?
- Not necessarily. You can apply with your Roboflow account or with Google. If you'd like a Roboflow account anyway, they're free at app.roboflow.com.
- Where do you need contributors?
- Everywhere. Most campaigns are remote and open internationally, subject to Stripe's payout coverage in your country. Some capture work is location-specific.
- What happens after I apply?
- We review applications as campaigns open up. When there's work that matches your background, you'll get an email with a short qualification task.
